VC BGSBU reviews arrangements in hostels, health centre, canteens

The Vice Chancellor of Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University Prof Akbar Masood Tuesday reviewed arrangements made available to university students in canteens and hostels.

After closure of eleven months due to Coronavirus pandemic, the offline class work for terminal semester and final year students started on Monday with hostel as well as dining facility made available following all norms as per UGC guidelines.

   

Today, the Vice Chancellor along with senior functionaries of the university took a round of all departments, hostels, canteens and other facilities in the campus to personally monitor the progress of arrangements.

The students in the hostels welcomed the action of the university to start offline classes.

“I was missing the ambience of the campus and am glad to be back to attend the offline classes,” said one of the students Aijaz Ahmed.

In order to check the quality of food, the Vice Chancellor personally visited canteens. He shared a table with students also to check the quality of food served to them.
