Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) Srinagar office conductd an Inter school (district level) painting competition at Govt Emporium Lawns Srinagar today.
As many as 124 boys and girls from eight physical educationzones of Srinagar participated in the competition. Director FloricultureHafizullah Shah graced the occasion as Chief Guest and distributed medals amongthe position holders.
In the Under-19 years age group category of girls. KounainZubair of Girls Higher Secondary School Kothi Bagh, Soliha from GHSS Khanyar,Farheen Zahoor from GHSS Soura bagged first three positions respectively whileas Adil Malik of SPMHSS, Ilkifat Yousuf of BHSS Jawahar Nagar and Adnan Farooqof SPMHSS bagged first, second and third positions respectively. In the Under-17category for girls, Hiba Zahoor from CMP School got first position, SolihaIqbal from Kashmir Harvard bagged second while as Sabreen Nazir from RP Schoolfrom Malbagh got third position.
In the Under-17 boys category, Shahid Mohid ud Din of BHS, Bemina,Syed Mohammad Fakhir of Tiny Hearts and Zahid Altaf of Usmani Middle Schoolbagged first three positions respectively.
In the Under-14 years category Fawad Riyaz of CMP Malbag,Peer Arif of GBMS and Minhaj of CMP School bagged first three positionsrespectively while as in girls Under-14 category, Toyiba of RP School Malbagh,Atif Reyaz of CMP School Gulab Bagh and Kashaf of RP School bagged first,second and third positions respectively.
