Line Star Kashmir FC suffered another defeat in the final round of second division I-League at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium, Mizoram on Saturday.
Having already left out the race for the qualification into I-League, Lone Star were on Saturday playing away match against Mizoram side Chhinga Veng FC. In the match Chhinga Veng FC defeated Lone Star by 5-2 goals.
Lone Star got off to bright start in the match as Gagandeep Singh scored first goal of the match for them in 32nd minute. However, hosts bounced back quickly as Laldinpuia Pc in the 35th minute. In the 39th minute Msdawngliana doubled lead for Chhinga Veng FC. In the 50th minute Vanlalbiaa Chhangte scored third goal for the Chhinga FC. In the 86th minute of the game Lalliansanga scored fourth goal for them while as in 88th minute, Hamza Auta Abdullahi scored second goal for Lone Star to make score 4-2. However it was too late for Lone Star to bounce back. To settle the things, Msdawngliana made score 5-2 for hosts.
After five matches Lone Star are placed at bottom of the four team group with only one point while as Chhinga Veng FC are now at second place with 10 points.
