The world renowned ski resort Gulmarg is all set to host second Khelo India Winter Games from February 11, the official statement said on Thursday.
It said in the second edition, various sports including skiing, snowboarding, snowshoe, ice stock, ice hockey, ice skating and ski mountaineering would be held.
The event is being organized by Winter Games Association of J&K under the support of J&K Sports Council and Ministry of Youth Services and Sports, it mentioned.
Besides, it stated J&K Snow Shoe Association, Ice Stock Sports Association, Ice Hockey Association, Ice-Skating Association and Ski Mountaineering Association will also have an active role during the event.
It said the meeting of the participating associations for conduct of the event was held in Srinagar, which was chaired by Winter Games Association J&K president Mohammad Abbass Wani.
