Three players from J&K Sky Running Association (SRA) participated in the first ever senior men sky running national championship 2019 at Himachal Pradesh.
The event was held from 4 to 6 April under the banner of SkyRunning Federation of India. According to team manager, the players fromJ&K participated Bashir Ahmad, Mir Arshad and Mohsin Ahmad participated inthe 15 km distance race with the altitude of 3000 meters.
“Our team performed well and we hope if the tourismdepartment will assist us, we can flourish and the best athletes can bedeveloped,” said manager of the team.
Earlier the state team was selected under the supervision ofits president RiyazWani.
