In the competition athletes from around 20 countries are participating that include China, Iran, Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, France, Italy, Indonesia, Vietnam among others.

Four J&K Wushu players are part of the 24-member Indian wushu contingent to  participate in Moscow Wushu Stars-2018 championship..

The Indian team comprises of four J&K players, Abhishek Jamaal a seven time national medalist, Hashim Ashraf, Mohammad Umar and Abid who had recently secured silver medals in the National School Games- Wushu held in Jammu.

In the competition athletes from around 20 countries are participating that include China, Iran, Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, France, Italy, Indonesia, Vietnam among others.

The Indian team is headed by the General Secretary of the Wushu Association of India, Suhel Ahmed.

The office bearers of Wushu Association of J&K including H K Lohia, Vijay Saraf, Ranjeet Kalra , Deepak Handa and Sunil Sharma and Sohit Sharma have wished them best of luck for the event.
