Ability Camp for differently-abled children concluded

The concluding ceremony of 15 days long Ability Camp for differently-abled children organised by District Police Leh and PAGIR was today held at Police Ice Hockey Rink Agling. 

During the camp, 50 special children from all the corners of Leh participated where they were imparted ice skating skills on skates/sledges by trained coaches of District Police Leh and equipments were also provided by the District Police.

   

During the closing event Ice Hockey matches were played between teams of the specially abled children  and the last friendly match was  played between District Police Leh team and the Canadian team. 

Dr. Sylvain Bertrand from the Canadian High Commission, Ladakh Projects in Charge was the Chief Guests at the closing event. 

SSP Leh Miss Sargun Shukla-IPS while interacting with the participants expressed her contentment over the successful culmination of the camp and assured that she and her  team will explore all possible avenues for providing such platforms to all from all the corners of the society. 

 Miss Cynthia Hunt, founder HELP Fund and HEALTH inc , coordinator of the camp expressed  her gratitude to SSP  Leh and her team to make this camp possible since the last one year.

Later ,trophies and  medals were also presented to the winners of events and the participants. Besides others, DySP Hq Leh Ishtyaq A Kacho-JKPS ,DySP DAR Suraj Singh, Mohammad Iqbal  President PAGIR , representatives of Canadian High Commission and police officers were also present on the occasion
