Former Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi was full of praise for Team India after their thumping win over Pakistan in the World Cup fixture at the Old Trafford.
After the win, Afridi said that the standard of cricketbeing played by the Men in Blue has been “exceptionally high” in theongoing tournament and credited the cash-rich Indian Premier League (IPL) forequipping youngsters with pressure handling techniques.

Earlier, legendary speedster Wasim Akram also heaped praiseon BCCI for investing on India’s first class cricket.
“Indian cricket invested everything in their firstclass cricket over the years. And we in Pakistan have hardly done anything forour first-class cricket,” said Akram while commentating during Sunday’smarquee clash which eventually turned out to be a one-sided affair.”We (Pakistan) have been changing it everyyear. Our first-class cricket has been run by some random journalist for someodd reason and why for so many years,” he added.
