,Former MLA Budgam Aga Syed Ruhullah has been appointed as the interim president of District Cricket Forum Budgam that was formed on Friday.
The various cricketclubs of district Budgam on Friday joined hands together to form the DistrictCricket Forum Budgam. At the end of the meeting clubs appointed Aga SyedRuhullah as its interim President.
As per statement issued,a large number of current players of the current cricket clubs and former Ranjicricketers from various Tehsils and blocks of the district Budapam held meetingat District Headquarters Budgam on Friday.
The purpose of meetingwas to create a District Cricket Unit in Budgam district. In this regard ameeting was held in which former MLA Aha Syed Ruhullah was appointed as interimPresident while as other interim body members were also appointed.
Manzooor Ahmad wasappointed as senior vice president. Fayaz Ahmad was appointed as generalsecretary and Reyaz Ahmad as treasurer. On the occasion six joint secretarieswere also appointed and one publicity secretary, Statement further said. It wasannounced that General Body Meeting will be held on April 5 in which all theRanji trophy cricketers would be present and at the time a formal body would beelected. During the meeting clubs of District were asked to register themselveswith the forum in order to get equal representation during upcoming generalbody meet.
