In the annual football league Kashmir Maharaja FC defeated Food and Supplies-XI by 1-0 goals in the match of premier division at synthetic turf TRC ground here on Wednesday.
In the first half both teams failed to score any goal whileas in second half Kashmir Maharaja FC broke the deadlock in the 60th minute.Zameem Ahmad was scorer for Kashmir Maharaja FC helping his team win the matchby 1-0 goals. Earlier in the super division match, Syed Tajuddin FC defeatedFortview FC by 3-2 goals.
Meanwhile, three matches of senior and junior divisions wereplayed at Polo Ground. In the firstmatch, Bemina FC defeated Hasanabad FC by 2-0 goals while in second match,Green Valley FC defeated Rangrath Warriors FC by 3-0 goals. In the third match,Qamarwari FC defeated Young Mohamadan FC Rainawari by 4-0.
The tournament is being organized by District FootballAssociation, Srinagar.
