In the ongoing annual league football tournament one match each of premier and super divisions were played at Synthetic Turf, TRC ground here on Thursday.
In the premier division, match was played between StateFootball Academy (SFA)-XI and Lonestar Kashmir FC. Lonestar were taken aback by the aggressivestart of the SFA and it was in the 20th minute of first half, SFA gained thelead with Towseef being the scorer. Lonestar tried to bounce back as they madea couple of decent moves but these attacks were thwarted by SFA defence. In the35th minute of first half, Rayees equalized for Lonestar and at halftime scorestood at 1-1.
In the second half, both teams tried to gain lead but wereunable to score and the match ended with 1-1 draw.
Earlier in the match of super division, Al-Bilal FC Sports defeated Young Maharaja by2-0 goals. The tournament is organized by District Football AssociationSrinagar.
