In the ongoing annual football league tournament, Lone Star Kashmir FC defeated Novelty FC by 5-1 goals in the Premier division at Synthetic Turf TRC ground here on Friday.
During day one match each were played in Super and PremierDivision. In the Premier division match Lone Star completely dominated NoveltyFC. It was despite the fact that Novlety FC was first to score goal in thematch. Asif was the scorer for them in 30th minute. After that Lone Star FCmade stunning comeback scoring equalizer in 35th minute. Aqib was scorer. Inthe 40th minute, Bilal scored second goal for Lone Star. At half time Lone Starwas leading by 2-1 goals.In the second half Lone Star went on to score threemore goals. Bilal completed his hatrickwhile as Wasiq scored one goal. Lone Star won by 5-1 goals. In the SuperDivision match, J&K SRTC defeated Rahim Green FC by a solitary goal.
Meanwhile, three matches were played in junior divisionleague at Polo Ground.
In the first match, Alamdar FC Gopalpora defeated North FCby 4-0 goals while as in second match JJ Seven FC And National Dalgate FCplayed 1-1 draw. In the third match Bloosom Sports FC Soura defeated ZahidSports by 2-0 goals.
