In an endeavour to encourage the young talent and channelise their energies, the army conducted a volleyball match between teams from Khadnayar and Jalsheeri village in Baramulla on Monday, an army spokesman said in a statement.
He said, “The teams of both the villages played the match with great enthusiasm and it was evidently visible by the nail biting finish to the match. The team of Khadnayar village came out to be victorious in the closely contested match which was witnessed by the local crowd. The winning team was suitably rewarded and all the playing members of both the teams were felicitated.”
