Hyderabad, Sep 13: Former Indian cricket captain Muhammed Azharuddin’s son Mohammed Ayazuddin’s condition remains critical, doctors said Tuesday. The 19-year-old met with an accident two days ago while riding a sports bike here.
He continues to be on the ventilator at Apollo Hospital here.
Ayazuddin has remained unconscious and his neurological status, following lack of oxygen due to cardiac arrest prior to arrival at the hospital, continues to be a cause of grave concern, according to a medical bulletin.
“He is being continuously monitored by a multi-specialty team round the clock. He had continuous bleeding from the injury to the left kidney and left nephrectomy (removing all or part of kidney) was performed this (Tuesday) morning,” the bulletin said. IANS
