The Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Baseer Ahmad Khan today convened a meeting to review youth engagement programme.
He directed Youth Services and Sports department to identifymohalla teams of the Srinagar city especially in Down Town areas, number ofyouth associated in sports activities, total number of clubs, academies, gymsand sports related unions.
“Register all of them so that free kits will beprovided to them,” he said adding that the government will provide themevery support so that national as well as international level of players can begenerated from the capital city.
He asked Deputy Commissioner Srinagar to monitor the free,fair and transparent registration process of city clubs and submit the report tothe Divisional Commissioner for further course of necessary action.
