The Department of Physical Education organised its annual college road race for men, women on April 24.
For male students the race was held from Nehru Park to Nishat Gate and for female students the run was held from SKICC Gate to Nishat gate. Around 98 students participated in the road race.
The run for male students was flagged off by Principal, Seema Naz and for females was flagged off by senior faculty members Showkat Afza and Gurmeet Kour in presence of Physical Director.
In male category, Amir Hussain, Tariq Ahmad Wani and RafaqatHussain bagged first three positions respectively while as in female category,Lama, Rashida Rafiq and Asiya Jan bagged first three positions respectively.
On the occasion Principal highlighted the importance ofsports activities for overall personality development of the teachers. PhysicalDirector Mohammad Ayoub, laid emphasis on the importance of sports in the livesof students.
