District Cricket Forums (DCF) Budgam, Baramulla and Kupwara have termed the redrafted constitution of J&K Cricket Association (JKCA) as a step in the right direction.
In a joint statement issued through the Secretary DCF Budgam Syed Asar, the three bodies have welcomed the redrafted constitution of JKCA and appreciated the efforts of JKCA CEO Syed Ashique Bukhari.
“JKCA CEO deserve praise for continuous efforts and struggle to implement recommendations of Lodha Committee through amendment in JKCA constitution. The new constitution makes district bodies relevant and gives them equal representation. It will boost cricket at grass root level,” the statement said.
