DIS Srinagar won champion trophies title in sub junior girls and sub junior boys categories in the State Rugby championship that was organised by Bandipora Rugby Association from April 20 to 22 at SK Stadium, Bandipora.
Forty seven teamsfrom 16 districts participated. DIS Srinagar teams bagged the respective firstpositions in Under-14 girls and in Under-14 boys categories. DIS Srinagar alsopicked up the third position in boy’s categories.
Chairman DIS Srinagar Showqat Hussain Khan has acknowledged the remarkable achievement and congratulated the winning teams and the DIS sports department forwinning the Rugby Championship at Bandipora.
