Sohail Khalid of J&K Forest department, who has been dominating District and State Billiards events more than eight years now, established his prowess in the Billiards arena of State yet again by lifting Senior District Billiards Championship at Jammu.
In the final of the Senior Billiards championship organised by Jammu and Kashmir Billiards and Snooker Association at Billiards Hall, MA Stadium Jammu, Sohail defeated Vishal Abrol (3-1) by (101-45, 48-101, 101-84, 100-68). Earlier, in the semifinal, Sohail had defeated Ishuk Choudhary in a close contest (3-2) by (86-101, 100-60, 89-100, 101-95, 100-99).
