The two-day district Srinagar Table Tennis Championship 2019 organized by District Srinagar Table Tennis Association concluded here at Sher-i-Kashmir Indoor Sports Complex, Srinagar.
The championship saw 80 to 90 participants in theSub-Junior, Junior and Senior categories taking part.
In under-12 boys category, DPS Srinagar student MusaMuttaqee Asif defeated his sibling and classmate Eesa Muttaqee Asif in thefinal in 3 sets to emerge as the winner. In under-14 boys category, IbrahimQadri of DPS Srinagar defeated schoolmate Usman to become the winner. IbrahimQadri also won the boys under-14 final by defeating Naveed Ahmad.
In Senior Men’s category, Qazi Inam emerged as the championafter inflicting defeat on his arch rival Minham Reshi in the final match.
In girls under-12 category, Aiza vakil defeated Iba Yousufin the final. In under-14 girls final, Aiza Vakil lost to Inam Qadri of DPSSrinagar in the final. In girls under-17 category, Inam Qadri defeatedschoolmate Hadiya Younis in the final to emerge as the winner. Inam Qadri alsowon the senior category by defeating Qurat-ul-Ain in the final.
