Delhi Public School, Budgam conducts its annual cross country run for the students of class 6th to 9th on Saturday.
Around 1000 students in both boys and girls sectionsparticipated in the run that was held from Nishat to Duck park Hazratbal. Allthe necessary arrangements including medical facility were made available forthe smooth conduct of the run, a school statement said.
Both JK Police and Traffic Police were actively involved to make it further hassle free. The students enjoyed theactivity as it was the first outdoor event after the long spell of harshwinter.
The Principal flaggedoff the run and the teachers took partwith regular intervals to boost the morale of the students. Later onrefreshment was served to all the students. It was a remarkable day with a lotsof fun when the nature was at its best to welcome the chidhood bliss.
