The quarterfinals of the ongoing Delhi Public School (DPS) Srinagar night football tournament ‘Chinar Cup’ were played at DPS football field here on Wednesday evening.
The first quarterfinal was played between DPS-A and KV No 1 in which DPS Srinagar emerged as the winner by 1-0 goals. Ayan was the lone scorer in the game for which he was awarded man of the match.
The second quarterfinal was played between DPS Budgam and Tyndale Biscoe. DPS Budgam prevailed over their opponents by converting four penalties, while as Biscoe could only manage three. Zahid of DPS Budgam was chosen as the man of the match.
