,Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) Kashmir organized provincial level inter-district annual road race of Under-14, 17 and 19 years boys at Anantnag on Friday.
The race was flagged off by the District DevelopmentCommissioner Anantnag Khalid Jehangir from Sports Stadium Tikbagh Mattan Gateon KP Road and it culminated at Seer Hamdan. In the event around 180 studentsfrom 10 Districts of Kashmir Division participated.
At the conclusion of race presentation ceremony was held atGirls Middle School Mattan Bala in whichDistrict Youth Services and Sports Officer Noor-ul-Haq Andrabi gave away prizes.
In Under-14 category Faizan Ahmad Khanday of Baramullafinished first while as Sahil Ahmad Kuttay of Anantnag finished second andTowheed Ahmad Dar of Bandipora finished third.
In Under-17 category Shoib Ahmad Magray of Ganderbal finishedfirst while as Abuzar Rasheed of Baramulla Aqib Ahmad Gojree of Budgam finishedsecond and third respectively.
In Under-19 category Mudasir Ahmad of Ganderbal finishedfirst while as Sheikh Saqib Ul Raheem of Budgam Aijaz Ahmad Hajam of Ganderbalfinished second and third respectively.
