ENGLAND TRI-SERIES | Qamran Iqbal, Rasikh Salam selected for India U-19 team

For the first time in the history of J&K cricket, two cricketers have been selected for India Under-19 team which is going to play in a series in England.

Batting sensation Qamran Iqbal and the pacer Rasikh Salamwho recently had stint with Mumbai Indians in Indian Premier League have bothbeen selected for India Under-19 team for Tri-Series in England.

   

While Qamran Iqbal who is hard hitting opening batsman whohas been part of India Under-19 team on several occasions, Rasikh Salam will byplaying for the first time.

It is also first time that two J&K cricketers have foundplace in India Under-19 at the same time.

To select team, All-India Junior Selection Committee met inSurat to pick the India U19 team for the one-day Tri-series in England startingJuly 21, 2019. India will play the U19 sides of hosts England and Bangladesh inthe tournament. Team will leave from Delhi on July 15.
