Farooq Amin has been elected as the President of the District Cricket Association Anantnag in an election held on Wednesday.
After the elections, electoral officer Syed Wasiq Ahmaddeclared Farooq Amin as President while as Naseer Ahmad Vaid as Vice President.
Irfan Reshi was elected as General Secretary while asMushtaq Ahmad Shah as Treasurer and Abdul Rashid Ganie as Joint Secretary.

Meanwhile the elections of District Cricket AssociationKulgam were also held on Wednesday in Town Hall Kulgam. The elections wereconducted in presence of Executive Magistrate first class, Dy SP Kulgham andelection observer from JKCA. As per statement, 54 teams participated in theelection. Mohammad Iqbal Ganie was declared President while as Adil Hamid Bhatas secretary.
