Government Degree College (GDC) Magam held its annual cycle race in magma on Monday.
The race was flagged off jointly by the college PhysicalDirector Dr Ujwala Koche, Sports convener Dr Sameer Farooq, Dr Zaheen Maqbool,Dr Kifayat from Magam market and it culminated back at Magam chowk aftercovering a total distance of 12 kilometers.
In the race around 35 students participated. Syed Majid of B A first semester, Muzamil Hussain of BA first semester and Mubashir Gul of B A fourth semester finished first, second and third respectively.
The first three position holders will be representing College in upcoming Inter-College event. At concluding function Assistant Prof Kashmir University Dr Jigmat and cyclist Akber Khan were also present.
