J&K girl’s Under-19 football team qualified into quarterfinal of the ongoing 63rd U-19 National School Games-Football after winning two group matches at Navi Mumbai on Friday.

In the first match of the day, J&K defeated NVS by 1-0 goals. Mir Uqba was the scorer. In the second match of the day, J&K defeated DAV in a thrilling encounter by 3-2 goals. Sonu score all three goals from J&K side. With that win J&K qualified for the quarterfinal of the event. In the group stage, J&K girls’ team won three out of four matches played.
