Green Valley Educational Institute (GVEI) kick-started sports activities by conducting annual cross –country run for the students from Nigeen to Foreshore Road here on Saturday.
In the around 1500 students of the Institute in differentage groups in both boys and girls sections.
For the different age groups distance was different andflag-off was also from different places. President Private School AssociationJ&K GN Var was guest on the occasion and he flagged of events from Sir SyedGate, KU for girls and Nigeen Park for boys. Chairman GVEI M Y Wani was alsopresent on the occasion.
The run for the Under-14 students concluded at Naseem BaghPark while as for the Under-17 and Under19 categories at Duck Park, Foreshoreroad.
