Hat Trick Public School Zakura Tuesday organised a cross country run for the students of Grade-3 to Grade-10.
Chairmanof the school, Showkat Mohammad Chowdhary flagged off the race fromZainulAbidin gate Kashmir University and it culminated at Nishat Garden. Around300 students participated in the six kilometer race and all of them reached thefinishing point.
Parentsof the students also witnessed the race and highly appreciated the schoolmanagement for the successful event.
Inthe higher grade Mansoom of Grade 7 finished first while as Kamran of Grade 9stood second and Aweed of Grade 7 finished third among boys. In girls, Shanza of Grade 7, Hadiya of Grade8 and Khuban of Grade 7 bagged first three positions respectively.
Inthe junior grade, Syed Baseerat of Grade 6 bagged first place while as Bushraof Grade 4 and Haya of Grade 4, bagged second and third positions respectivelyamong girls.
Inboys, Sheikh Ehsan of Grade 6, Mohammad Saif of Grade 5 and Lone Furqaan ofGrade 4 clinched first three positions respectively.
Atthe closing ceremony, students were felicitated with medals by Chairman ShowkatMohammad Chowdhary in presence of Principal and academic head. Later, thechairman in his address hailed the students for their participation in the run.He emphasized on taking active part in sports activities.
