The inter-department Volleyball tournament for men organized by Directorate of Physical Education and Sports University of Kashmir concluded at KU.
According to a statement, Department of History won theinter-department volleyball tournament men by defeating Department of Economics by 3 sets to 1.During the event 28 teams from different departments and campuses of theuniversity participated. Zahoor Ahmad of Department of History was declared manof the tournament. Prof Bashir Ahmad Khan, chairman sports committee KU waschief guest of the occasion. Earlier NadeemAhmad Dar Assistant Director Directorate of physical education and sports provided a detailed report of the event and welcomed the chief guest. The event was conducted under the supervision of MuneerAlam volleyball coach ofthe Directorate.
