Three J&K cricketers have found their place among the 578 around the World who will be going under hammer in keenly awaited Indian Premier League (IPL) players auction on January 27 and 28.

The IPL teams on Saturday finalized its list of players that will be going under hammer in the much awaited auction. The list of players to go under hammer on January 27 and 28 has been pruned from 1,122 to 578 as per the interest expressed by franchisees. Out of this, 360 are Indian players and 218 foreign.

With a total of 18 players already retained by the eight franchises, and there being squad size limit of 25, a maximum of 182 players (out of the 578) will be traded during the event in Bengaluru.

For the Kashmiri cricket fans, only three names have been approved by franchisees and will be going under hammer.

Parvez Rasool who last year got snub in the auction with no franchisee bidding for the Kashmir star cricketer is available for the base price of Rs: 50 lakhs. Pacer Umar Nazir who was also listed in auction last year and found no takers is again up for grabs for the base price of Rs: 20 lakhs.

The new addition to the list from J&K is the hard hitting batting sensation Manzoor Dar (Pandav). He is also up for grabs for the base price of Rs: 20 lakhs.
