ICS Greens books place in the final of the Islamia College Inter-Department cricket tournament after defeating ICS Whites by 110 runs in the semifinal played college cricket field, Hawal here on Monday.
Batting first, ICS Greens scored 223 for the loss of sevenwickets in alloted 25 overs. Moonis with 48 and Mehraj with 35 were the highestscorers for them while as Imtiyaz and Amir took two wickets each for ICSWhites.
In reply ICS Whites got all-out for 113 runs in 17.3 oversfor the loss of all wickets. Haroon Farooq took four wickets for ICS Greens.From ICSA Whites Waseem scored 32 runs.
Earlier Prof Yaseen Ahmed Shah, Principal of the college hadinteractions with the players of both the teams. The final of the tournamentwould be played between ICS Yellows and ICS Greens on Friday.
