Islamia College organises snow trekking

The Department of Physical Education Islamia College, Srinagar organised one day snow trekking for its students on Saturday from Naranag to Domail in Ganderbal district.

The trekking was held as part of the adventure programme of the adventure club of the college.

   

The group was flagged off by Principal of the College Prof Yaseen Ahmed Shah and in it around 29 students and four staff members participated.

The group was lead by Director Physical Education of the College Altaf ur Rehman. The trekking started from Naranag near and walking through snow clad trail group reached Domail. Snow accumulation was around four feet.
