Department of Physical Education of Islamia College Srinagar organised one-day snow trekking trip on Saturday to Mamnet meadow.
The trekking group of College was flagged off by Principal of the college Prof. Yaseen Ahmed Shah in the morning and in it around 15 students and five staff members under the supervision of Director Physical Education of the College Altaf ur Rehman.
The group started trek from Fakir Gujri area of Harwan. After traversing through in the snow trail, the group reached Mamnet meadow which was still under around five feet of snow.
