Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) organized one day trekking programme for female students and staff members here on Wednesday.
In the trekking programme that was organized by Dean ofStudents, IUST 70 female students and staff members of IUST participated.
While flagging off the trekking programme towards Vastoorvanhills, Vice Chancellor Prof. Mushtaq A. Siddiqi wished the participants safejourney towards the trekking destination.
Extra-curricular activities are as important as curricularactivities and such programmes will be conducted in future too, he added.
Dean of Students, Dr. Anisa Jan thanked all the participantsfor showing great enthusiasm towards the trekking programme. Later, all theparticipants returned back to IUST after successful completion of the trekkingprogramme.
