J&K has bagged seven medals at second India Open International Taekwondo Olympic ranking championship (G1 level) that was held at Gachibowli Indoor Sports Complex, Hyderabad, Telangana.
In the event J&K bagged seven medals that included onegold ,one silver and five bronze medals.
In the event around25 countries participated that included including Afghanistan, Australia, Omanand Saudi Arabia.
From J&K Amandeep bagged gold, Mufti Sauleh silver whileAchutamDev Singh, AfreenHyder ,Sadia Tariq, ZainNazir and SalviSaini bagged bronze medals.
In the event Team Afghanistan clinched the senior overalltitle both in male and female categories, while as Team India stood second inthe medal tally.
As per J&K Taekwondo Association, it was for the veryfirst time that J&K Taekwondo participated in an Olympic rankingInternational event sanctioned by World Taekwondo.
