A women’s football tournament organised by J&K Football Association commenced at Synthetic Turf TRC Ground, Srinagar on Saturday.
According to a statement, twelve teams will be participatingand on Saturday four matches were played. In the first match between DR AGM’sSchool and Legends School, AGM’s school defeated Legends by two goals to one.
In the second match Mallinsons Girls School got a walkoveragainst SFA Bandipora. The third match was played between Presentation ConventSchool and SFA Srinagar. SFA defeated Presentation Convent School by six tonil.
The fourth match was played between Bemina Girls FootballAcademy and SFA Sozeth Girls Football Academy which ended goalless. NusratGhazala Sports Officer (C) J&K State Sports Council was the chief guest onthe occasion.
