The Jammu & Kashmir Judo Association (JKJA) has warned prospective judo players against joining unauthorized coaching centres, stating that only two clubs in the state area affiliated with the Association.

“The only authorized Judo Coaching Centres of the J&K State Sports Council are running presently at Sher-e-Kashmir Indoor Sports Complex Wazir Bagh, Srinagar and M.A. Stadium, Jammu. The coaching centres are run under the supervision of NIS trained coaches of the department and observers of J&K Judo Association”, a statement issued here said. 

“No other Judo Club is functioning at any other place in J&K. If there is any Judo Club functioning it is not in any way affiliated to the J&K Judo Association neither is it authorized by the council or the association. The association is not in any way responsible for the conduct of any non-affiliated clubs”, it said.
