In the ongoing junior women’s hockey championship organized by Hockey J&K quarterfinals were played at Sunlight Society hockey field Gulshanabad Hyderpora on Wednesday.
In the first quarterfinal, Cosmus Hockey Club (B) defeatedSunlight Hockey Club (White) by 3-1 goals while as in second quarterfinal, IEIHockey Club defeated Friends Hockey Club by 4-0 goals.
In the third quarterfinal, Sunlight Hockey Club (Green)defeated National Sports Club by 2-0 goals in fourth quarterfinal IEI GREENHockey Club defeated Budgam Hockey Club by 3-0 goals.
Meanwhile Srinagar District hockey championship is going tobe held at Gindun stadium Rajbagh with 20 teams expected to participate inthat.
