The three-day Kashmir Basketball League concluded at Sheri-Kashmir Indoor Stadium here on Sunday.
In the open boys and girls section, Team Manchester and TeamContenders emerged out as winner respectively. In the boys Under-17 categoryBasket Brawlers emerged as winner. In the boys open category the final wasplayed between AW Warriors and Team Manchester in which Team Manchesterdefeated Warriors by 51-34. Danish Pandit and Aukif Khan scored equal pointsfor their team.
DC Srinagar Dr Shahid Iqbal Chowdary was chief guest on theoccasion while as ADC Srinagar Kuldeep, Tehsildar District Budgam Nusrat Azizand SI Shergadi Police Station Bashir Ahmed were other guests present.
Aukif Khan, Afla and Adeeb Wani were awarded MVPs of thetournament.
The tournament had started on July 5 and in it 18 teamsparticipated. The league was organized by Wasiq Ashraf and Danish Pandit. Itwas sponsored by Adeeb International, Manchester Education, Amigos, Sports 11Cafe and The Nail room by Savvy.
