The three-day Kashmir Basketball League started on Friday at Sheri-Kashmir Indoor Stadium here.
In the league around 18 teams in both boys and girls sectionare participating. The league is sponsored by Adeeb International, ManchesterEducation, Amigos, Sports 11 Cafe and the Nail Room by Savy.
“The main aim is to provide a platform to the basketballplayers of the valley as in Kashmir we lack far behind in providing so,” saidone of the organizer Danish Pandit.
