For the first time in the athletic arena of Kashmir, an exclusive athletic event would be held Gindun Multi Facility Sports Centre Rajbagh on October 10 and 11.
The event would be organised by Wath Haawuk in collaboration with J&k Adventure Sports Club.
“This event will be first of its kind in entire J&K. It will serve as a presentation to the youth of Kashmir about athletics and show the significance of this sport, ” A statment issued said.
During the event competitions of both male and female sections would be held. For male, competitions would be held in 100 metre, 400 metre, 1500 metre and 10,000 metre while as for female competitions would be held in 100 metre, 200 metre, 800 metre and 5000 metre. The last date of registration is October 5.
