Kashmir Harvard conducts cross-country run

Kashmir Harvard Educational Institute Habak, Naseem Bagh conducted annual cross-country run for the students title ‘Run For Fun’ on Saturday from Nishat Garden to Duck park Foreshore road for girls and upto Botanical garden for boys here.

The run was conducted with the aim to preserve, promote andnurture the passion of co-curricular enthusiasm among the students that hasbeen part of the school legacy for past several years. The competition was heldfor the middle, high and higher secondary departments of the school.

   

Principal of the Institute, Irfana Yousuf flagged off runfor girls from Nishat Garden which culminated at Duck Park Foreshore road.

In sub-junior category girls, Zaika, Sidra, Duha and Huriahfinished first, second, third and fourth respectively while as in Juniorcategory, Muskan, Adna , Mehak and Qurat finished, first, second, third andfourth respectively. Irtiqa, Minha, Abina and Misbah bagged first fourpositions respectively in senior girls category.

The run for boys was flagged off by school Vice-Principal,Sheikh Mubashir, which ended up at the Botanical garden. Yasir, Zaid and Ahsanbagged first three positions respectively in the sub-junior boys category. Inboys junior category, Shahid, Zeeshan and Tazeem finished first, second andthird respectively. In the senior-category boys, Faizan, Shahnawaz and Muteebbagged first three positions respectively.

Chairman Tariq Ahmad Baktoo applauded the active role ofparents in encouraging their children for participating in such enthrallingevents organized by the school often.
