Power lifters from Kashmir province performed very well in the State Bench Press championship held at YatriNiwas, Bagwati Nagar, Jammu on October 6 and 7. Out of five lifters representing Kashmir province, four players bagged medals in the championship.
Hashir Shah from Srinagar bagged gold in 105-kg category, while as in 120+ kg category Jatinder Pal Singh from Budgam bagged silver medal.
In the 59-kg category, Nazir Ahmad from Baramulla won the bronze medal while as in 74-kg category, BurhanAnsar from Srinagar bagged the silver.
