The women cricket tournament ‘Kashmir Women’s Premier League – 2020 (KWPL)’ concluded in Baramulla on Friday. In the all women tournament, six cricket teams constituting female cricketers from across Kashmir participated.
The final match was played between Srinagar Warriors and Game Swingers at Jhelum Stadium, Baramulla in which the Warriors emerged as winners. Sadia was declared women of the match, while Eqra Rasool was declared as women of the series for his overall performance in the tournament.
The tournament was organized under the aegis of Dagger Division of Chinar Corps in association with a local NGO Save Youth – Save Future. The total five matches were played in the tournament. On the occasion all the players of participating teams were felicitated.
