KU V-C flags off students for snow skiing course

Vice-Chancellor of University of Kashmir Prof Talat Ahmad on Monday flagged off a contingent of college and university students for a snow skiing course to be held at the ski resort of Gulmarg.

The two-week course has been organised by the varsity’s Directorate of Physical Education and Sports. 20 students from Kashmir University and its affiliated colleges will be participating in the course, which aims to train the participants in snow skiing skills, both basic and advanced. Addressing the participants, Prof Talat underscored the importance of adventure sports in shaping up their personalities.

   

Coordinator, Directorate of Physical Education and Sports, DrNisar Ahmad Khan briefed the Vice-Chancellor about various components of the two-week course. MuneerAlam (Volleyball Coach) will be accompanying the contingent as the course manager.
