In the ongoing inter-departmental cricket tournament organised by the Directorate of Physical Education and Sports, Kashmir University, Institute of Technology (IOT), Zakura Campus, won its first match by beating the Department of Commerce.
Batting first, IOT scored 140 runs in 18 overs. Owais battedbeautifully for his 32 runs in 30 balls, while a quick fire 33 in just 18 ballsfrom Saliq provided IOT the required impetus.Director IOT Zakura Campus, Prof GM Bhat, andAssistant Director Sports, Dr Basharat Ali, congratulated the team for itsperformance.
