The Legends School of Education on Tuesday organised the annual road race for girl students.
Therace was flagged off by the principal of the school, Manzoor Ahmad Qadri atShankar Acharya Main Gate, a statement by the school said. The Chairman ImranShah was also present on the occasion. The run concluded at Central Eco Park(Shankar Acharya Hill). Nearly 300 students participated in the run.
Thepurpose of the race was to instil the spirit of participation in sports,especially long runs and to aware them that they should participate not only towin but rather to test the limits of their strength and the will to completethe race in all conditions.
