The stellar performance by Leh girls in annual inter-college road race for women on Monday surprised everyone as all three top positions were bagged by girls from Ladakh.
Tashi Ladol of GDC Leh clocked 14:30, Stanzin Chondol of GDCLeh with 14:50 and Stanzin Dolkar of GDC Leh with 16:20 timming, secured first,second and third positions respectively in the inter-college road race whichwas organised by the Directorate of Physical Education and Sports, Universityof Kashmir.
As many as 150 female athletes participated in the racewhich was flagged off by Chief Guest Prof Raies Ahmad Qadri, Dean Students Welfare, University of Kashmir fromShalimar ghat which culminated at RUMI gate of Kashmir University.
