In the ongoing state-level ‘Let’s Play Football tournament’, the girls and boys teams of Srinagar district won their respective matches on Wednesday.
In the 17-19 years age group, the girls team from Srinagardefeated the team from Kishtwar by two goals. Sara outshined throughout thematch and scored both the goals.
In the 13-16 age group, the boys team from Srinagar ran riotagainst their counterparts from Rajouri, scoring seven goals without conceding.
Director General, Youth Services and Sports, DrSaleem-ur-Rehman, also visited the venues of the tournament in Srinagar andGanderbal.
Meanwhile, the matches were delayed due to inclementweather.
